City Gal Bakes
There’s nothing I love more than supporting a local business, especially one that started as a hobby and grew into a second career (I might know something about that). Elizabeth Idihoy is kind, creative, and one of the most hardworking women I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She started City Gal Bakes in 2019 after realizing her baking hobby had become something more when friends and family started spreading the word about her whimsical sugar cookie designs. She accepts custom orders and can work with customers to create the perfect design. She also offers seasonal and holiday options, including cookie cards, cookie sets, and individual sugar cookies. I’ve purchased Thanksgiving sets to adorn our dinner table and cookie cards to share with friends. City Gal Bakes is truly a family affair. Elizabeth’s husband often greets me at their door when I pick up my order or on one of his early morning deliveries between shuttling their three little ones to school. Cookies are available online with seasonal offerings announced on the City Gal Bakes Instagram page, but keep an eye out–the bakeshop sells out quickly!
